When [?] decided to somewhat spontaneously host a dinner in their dorm, inviting along the entire team and we all ended up playing Catan and cooking on precise rotations where cross-coordination was handled during the transition period. In many ways, they brought [mission] together and made the social aspect of the hardcore engineering so effortless. Also the fact that I kept seeing the bench under construction, then saw the bench picking up the 3D prints, and then saw the bench once more. Last summer, [?], [?], [?], [?], and others had a get-together in Pasadena, since many of our [mission] members happen to end up there together. We went around old Pasadena, ate at a Ramen place, where I went back to many times after. It happens to also be [?] 's birthday, but they're all the way in SF. In the dark park, the group of us called him and sang happy birthday while he was walking back from work. That night, we also laughed at [?]'s "Columbia Mom" license plate, but they very kindly drove many of us there and back. It was really nice listening to music while driving on the highway and looking at the night light of LA.
