Talking directly to Tatiana, the party finds this crystal blade that once belonged to Strahd's brother, Sergei, in the pool of St Markovia.

Mary's daughter, who was described as wearing a red ribbon in her hair, was taken by Granny in Barovia and not rescued in time from the windmill.
