Irregular and regular verbs
What do we have to do to form the past with a REGULAR VERB?
We have to add the -ed!
Translate: I did my homework yesterday.
Eu fiz meu tema de casa ontem.
Translate: I didn't study yesterday.
Eu não estudei ontem.
Put in the past form:
Play
Played
Translate: Eu cozinhei semana passada.
I cooked last week.
Translate: We didn't go to Porto Alegre last month.
Nós não fomos para Porto Alegre mês passado.
Put in the past form:
Go
Went
Change to the negative form: I didn't go to Paris last year.
I went to Paris last year.
Translate: Eu não dormi noite passada.
I didn't sleep last night.
Put in the past form:
Sleep
Slept
Eu tomei banho de manhã.
Change: I wrote a letter on Saturday.
I didn't write a letter on Saturday
Put in the past form:
Do
Did
Translate: Nós demos um presente de anivérsário para Patty mês passado.
We gave a birthday gift/present to Patty last month.
Change and after translate: I read a book last year.
I didn't read a book last year.
Eu não li um livro ano passado.
