Don't ever ask a participant about these.
What are crimes or times?
This can be traded on the inside.
What is food?
These are well-known and well-loved throughout the Polunsky Unit.
What are COOKIES?
(Kairos volunteers hand-out cookies to every MIW and officer at Polunsky!)
Term to describe a request for a MIW to attend an event.
What is an I-60/Lay-in?
Kairos volunteers should encourage the MIW in these things.
What are good behavior and positive choices?
Alt: What is attend Prayer & Share (every Tuesday) and Reunions (2nd Saturdays)?
Baptism, Communion, Alter Calls and Speaking in Tongues are not part of this.
What is Kairos Common Ground?
This is the amount of prescription medication that may enter the prison (in the leaders box).
What is one day's worth?
(Must be in the original, labeled container.)
These might be endearing to MIW with children or loved ones of the same age/name.
What are Placemats?
(They also might just appreciate the art!)
Inmate classifications, not government ranks.

These must be covered in all Meditations and Talks.

Don't ever join a participant in criticism of these.
What are Authorities, Police or Courts?
Besides car keys and Texas DL, only these persons can carry in other items.
Who are Inside Leaders?
Leaders can carry in their leaders binders containing the weekend schedule and other weekend files.
Any other documents (i.e. copies of talks) will go into the binder in the Leaders Box each day.
These people traditionally pass out cookies to the entire prison population.
Who are the Rookies?
(Distributed Saturday morning.)
A volunteer on the inside during the Kairos Weekend is known as this.
What is a Man in Color?
If you attend a Weekend, attend these!
What are Saturday Reunions?
(Scheduled for every 2nd Saturday!)
If you are a Kairos Inside volunteer, you can not be on this at the prison.
What is a Visitor List?
These type of watches are not allowed into the prison.
What are smart or digital watches?
This colorful Agape is a visual of a great cloud of witnesses and "connects" with the MIW.
What are Prayer Chains?
This happens multiple times a day to make sure MIW are where they're supposed to be.
What is a Count?
What each of us should be doing for team members and the MIW participants.
What is PRAYER?
This should never be done during the Weekend or at Closing. Gracias!
What is thanking the Inside or Support team members?
(This weekend is not about us! It's about Jesus and the 42 MIW.)
What items should be carried out of the prison?
What is absolutely nothing?
(Leave only with exactly what you brought in, which should be car key, Texas DL, glasses, hearing aides.)
