Assistance Animals/Therapy Animals/Emotional Support Animals
This type of learning was necessary during the pandemic, but is not an accommodation offered through the DAO
Remote. (However, we must explore all requests individually).

CAMHS
A student should do this if they don't have medical documentation and are requesting accommodations

A student should do this if they feel too sick to take their final exam
Go to HUHS and contact their Resident Dean for support.
The deadline for new housing accommodation requests for rising sophomores is at the end of this month
January (but we accept applications year-round. Housing accommodation implementation approved after the deadline is dependent on availability).

When a student disagrees with an accommodation decision made by the DAO and is concerned about discrimination, they should do this

This accommodation requires faculty to work with students and document a plan for the semester for instances when a student may not be able to attend class because of the impact of their disability

This office works with FAS students who need Braille and alternative text formats
