What is the Median Student Growth Percentiles (CGP)? 

What is the metric used to measure a student's academic growth over time for NWEA MAP. It is based on the scores of the NWEA Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) assessment, which is a computer-adaptive test that measures a student's proficiency in reading, language usage, math, and science.

The CGP measures a student's growth relative to the growth of other students who started at a similar level of academic achievement. The growth is calculated by comparing a student's most recent test score with their previous test score, and then adjusting that growth based on the average growth of other students who started at the same level.

The resulting score is a percentile rank that shows how much academic growth the student has made compared to their peers.
