200

What is the scale on a bar graph?

The numbers on the x-axis of a bar graph or the y-axis of a column graph are called the scale.

200

Why do we use line graphs.

Line graphs can also be used to compare changes over the same period of time for more than one group.

300

Why do we use Pie Charts / or Pie Graphs?

Pie charts are best to use when you are trying to compare parts of a whole.

What is an example of MetaData?

Metadata is data that describes other data. ... Metadata summarizes basic information about data, which can make finding and working with particular instances of data easier. For example, author, date created and date modified and file size are examples of very basic document metadata.

How are graphs used in the real world?

Both are used to present real data. You will see tables in use when shopping for cell phone plans and you will see graphs in use when you research population growth. These are just a few examples of how they are used in the real world. In algebra, both are used as visual representations of functions and data.
