Where can you find-

a: switch shifts

b: generics

c: IR/BA/HI/SI

d: Change of availability/time off

a: Break room door/ floor sup office

b: Outside Front Desk

c: Floor Supervisor Office/ Breakroom

d: Floor Sup Office/ Break Room

100

How can you properly prepare for data collection?

Answers may vary:

Having stimuli for targets, having token board, make sure youre in an appropriate environment, and client is attending to you.

Explain FR, VR, FI, VI

Fixed Ratio: A fixed set number of responses before rf.

Variable Ratio: An average number of responses before rf.

Fixed Interval: A fixed amount of time before rf.

Variable Interval: An average amount of time before rf.

What are the 4 function of behavior?

1. Access

2. Attention

3. Escape/Avoidance

4. Automatic Reinforcement

How can you find out your client's BCBA?

Look in CR, ask a supervisor.

Describe AND Find a frequency target

Frequency is counting every occurrence of the behavior.

200

What is Discrimination Training? Give an Example:

–Discrimination training involves reinforcing a behavior in the presence of one stimulus but not others.

Ex: Reinforce client’s peer interactions while in gym (gym environment is one stimulus) but do not reinforce peer interactions when doing work during maintenance (workroom is another stimulus)

200

What should you do if don't know where the behavior plan is OR you don't know how to follow the behavior intervention plan.

Call for support, reach out to the client's BCBA or a present BCBA.

Describe the RBT's supervision standard

300

How do you share access to a session to someone who needs it.

1. Go to client's page

2. Click the gear

3. Click Sharing and access

4. Type person's name and hit share

300

Describe Partial Interval Recording

When watching a behavior during a set time frame, you count the behavior as occurring if it occurs anytime within your interval. NOT counting the occurrences, only if it happens or not.

300

What is pairing?

Pairing: A technique used in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) to help form and maintain rapport with a child by combining (i.e. pairing) the learning environment and the instructor with already established reinforcers

300

What are the differences between yellow and red flags?

Yellow: Enter before kiddo, with hands on client, and between the escalated client and tours.

Red: Do not enter

Where do you find how to run a program, the description, schedule of reinforcement, and correct vs incorrect responses?

Describe Whole Interval Recording

When observing a behavior with a time frame, you count the behavior as occurring if it occurs for the Whole interval.

1. What is the prompt Hierarchy from Least to Most?

2. Explain when to use prompts and how to fade.

1.Position prompt- The correct choice is placed closer to the learner’s hand compared to the incorrect choice.

2.Visual prompt -Visual cue to ensure the correct response.

3.Gestural prompt - Involves any physical gesture or movement from the instructor which may lead to the correct response, such as pointing to or looking at the item to be contacted.

4.Modeling/demonstration- Involves showing the child what to do, demonstrating the response.

5.Verbal prompt- Involves telling the child what to say or do.

6.Physical guidance- Involves physically guiding/assisting the child to perform the response or complete the task. Can be partial or full.

Explain DRA, DRO, DRI.

–Differential Reinforcement of Incompatible Behavior (DRI)

DRI involves reinforcing behavior that can’t occur at the same time as the inappropriate behavior. For example, a teacher wants the child to remain in his seat. Each time the student leaves his seat, the behavior is ignored. However, when the child remains seated, the teacher rewards him with a sticker. The behavior of sitting is incompatible with walking around/being out of his seat.

–Differential Reinforcement of Alternative Behavior (DRA)

DRA involves reinforcing a behavior that serves as an alternative (appropriate) to the inappropriate behavior. A good example of this would be a child who demands food from his parents. Each time the child makes a demand, his parents would ignore him. Only when the child asks politely do the parents turn, acknowledge him, and satisfy his request. The alternative (appropriate) behavior is asking politely.

–Differential Reinforcement of Other Behavior (DRO)

DRO involves rewarding the child when the inappropriate behavior does not occur during a specific amount of time. An example of this type of differential reinforcement would be a child who repeatedly leaves his seat during dinnertime. The parent would set a timer for ten minutes. If the child does not leave his seat during this time, he is rewarded with television time following dinner. We are looking for zero occurrences of the behavior targeted for reduction.

Where can you keep track of how many target you are running per session?

1. Log in to a client's programming

2. Click the Clock

3. Hit Expand on your name or another RBT's

Make this more observable and measurable:

Client did communication targets and work then walked to playroom. In playroom, client shared. Client did not follow instruction well. Client asked for snack, so we went to the kitchen but then the client cried, and hit himself in the head very hard for no reason.

What communication targets? What work? Percentages, targets? Client shared what, with who for how long? What instructions, how was it not "well" Use transition, ABC what this behavior this, crying, hitting self in head with what, how many times, etc. Magnitune and intensity, and ABC to determine function of behavior.

Explain and show the difference in Expressive and Receptive DTT.

Expressive is expressive language: What color, say..., do this,

Receptive is using receptive language: Touch, Give me, Find me
