בוֹרֵא חֹשֶׁךְ
creates darkness
וּכְתַבְתָּם
and you should write
קָדוֹשׁ
holy
וְתַדְבִּיקֵֽנוּ בְּמִצְוֹתֶֽיךָ
and connect us to Your Mitzvos
אָבֹא בֵיתֶךָ
I come to the Beis Hamikdash
הַבּוֹחֵר בְּשִׁירֵי זִמְרָה
Who Loves our songs of praise
וּבְכָל מְאֹדֶךָ
and with all your might
הַגִּבּוֹר
the strong
שֶׁתַּצִּילֵֽנִי
save me
וְהוּא הָיָה וְהוּא הֹוֶה, וְהוּא יִהְיֶה
Hashem was, He is, He will be
יִשְׁתַּבַּח שִׁמְךָ
Your name should be praised
וְאָהַבְתָּ
And you should love
וְזוֹכֵר חַסְדֵי אָבוֹת
and remembers the kindness of the Avos
יְבָרֶכְךָ
He should give you a BROCHO
מֶלֶךְ מְהֻלָּל בַּתִּשְׁבָּחוֹת׃
King Who is praised by praises
אֲדוֹן הַנִּפְלָאוֹת
Master of wonders
וּבְלֶכְתְּךָ בַדֶּרֶךְ
and when you go on your way
מְכַלְכֵּל
feeds
נוֹתֵן הַתּוֹרָה
Gives us the Torah
אֲדוֹן עוֹלָם אֲשֶׁר מָלַךְ,
Master of the world Who Ruled
שִׁיר וּשְׁבָחָה, הַלֵּל וְזִמְרָה
song, clapping, praise, and music
בְּכָל לְבָבְךָ, וּבְכָל נַפְשְׁךָ, וּבְכָל מְאֹדֶךָ
with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might
שְׂפָתַי תִּפְתָּח
