Males and females are green above with a white breast and belly. Males have an iridescent red throat patch, which can be seen in good lighting. Females lack red throat patch.

Red-Bellied Woodpecker

Can imitate the calls of hawks. They are a member of the family Corvidae, which also includes the American crow. Corvids are considered to be very intelligent birds.
