Staff Arrival/Dismissal
This happens everyday at 8am
What is staff arrival time?
This is the only place where you should wear your staff shirt.

This is the name of the guideline that states you should never be alone with one camper.

This time of day is when you check your campers backpacks for their lunch.

These people need to bring a towel, bathing suit, and swim cap everyday

These are the times when you can use your phone.
What is during your break and before and after camp?
This is when I count my campers.
What is ALL the time, especially transitions?

These are the days/times that children and staff can bring peanuts, tree nuts, and meat to camp for lunch or snack.
What is NEVER
This person teaches an activity such as art, drama, music, and yoga on the corners of the roof.
Who is the specialist?
These people need to bring an ID card from the JCC, a license, or another form of ID at pickup
What is all parents and caregivers?
This is one of the ways you can keep campers safe while also empowering them.
What is create a group rule list?
Campers need extra of this if they spend a lot of time outside and running around
What is water?
These are the special treat for bunk birthdays
What are popsicles?
This is an activity that happens on the 3rd floor gym and in the park for the 5/6s
What is sports?
After this time, you clean up your room and get checked out by a unit head.
What is dismissal?
Campers need to be within visual observation and verbal contact with these people at all times.
Who are head and assistant counselors?
This is where you should go if a child gets a bump, bruise, or cut.
What is the nurse/EMT office?
These are the two times when you put the dividers up AND make sure all campers wash their hands.
What are snack and lunch?
This is an important safety measure at the pool.
What is a buddy check?
This is when I show my JCC ID, show health declaration, and get my temperature checked

These are things that will result in immediate dismissal from your job.
What are: smoking/alcohol/drugs, deliberately endangering the life of a camper or staff member through inappropriate or hazardous behavior, frequent absences or tardiness, and inappropriate interaction with children and staff.
This is who you should call in case of an emergency.
Who is Debra, Genna, EMT/Nurse, Unit head?
These people are responsible for checking that lunches and cooking follow our dietary and allergy restrictions EACH DAY.
Who are the counselors?
These people are expected to be changed and ready to swim every day.
