What should you bring to school?
Hoodless jackets or sweaters when it is cold. Drink packets that get turned in. Electronics that get turned in. Anything else needs permission by therapy staff. Hooded jackets/coats go in locker
Can you bring food to eat at school? What is allowed?
Yes you can bring breakfast and lunch. You can't bring carbonated or caffeinated drinks, drinks must be unopened. Food can't require refrigeration but you can use the microwave. If you bring food from home you are not able to eat from the cafeteria, but you can choose to eat one or the other. You can only eat during the approved meal times. You can't bring snacks for snack time. Parents can't drop off food for you at meal times (example fast food).
A peer tells you they have a secret that someone is hurting them and they ask you to keep their secret

What are some reasons that you should ask to see the nurse?
Not feeling well, nose bleed, sickness, injury, you take medicine at school, you need one of your PRN medicines

What you tell staff is shared with the day school team but not told to people who do not need to know. What is said in group is supposed to stay in group unless other staff members need to know. What you hear and see in programing we ask not be shared outside of programming. Important information that could a danger to others has to be reported. not talking to students in other programming (page 4 in handbook)
