https://klaviyo.zendesk.com/agent/tickets/339263 You receive this email: Can you tell me why our account is disabled? you should do this next.

What is search for past tickets from that customer. You can respond back without escalating, with the information that was already shared with the customer. If there is pushback, you can escalate to Compliance.

This is what CNAME means.

What is a Canonical Name or CNAME record is a type of DNS record that maps an alias name to a true or canonical domain name.

Hi - I would like to send transactional emails for Wyse London. This would include. Order Confirmation. A follow up email for pre orders and an email for order is on its way. I read on a forum that I had to request the ability to do transactional emails via Klaviyo. Please let me know how I can start.

What is send the transactional email macro. We need the URL for the specific email they want marked as transactional. We can’t mark an entire Flow as transactional, but we can mark every specific email in a Flow as transactional.

Whenever we see a profile count on an account during a Manual Review, we should always look at this next.

What is metrics. We want to make sure they are sending to people have opted-in to receiving emails from this particular brand/company. If a customer has purchased a list the metrics will be very low/non existent, and the Profile count will be high.

This is the MRR threshold to request a dedicated IP.

What is MRR $1500.

I'd like to activate my integration with Swym for Wishlish and Back in Stock Product Alerts please. I've read on their support articles that I need to get in touch for you to verify my account.

API key I'd like to use is pk_ef8555240f728e20e1069cf0e4ec3c1241

What is let the customer know that unfortunately, the API endpoint for this use case with Swym is no longer supported on Klaviyo. We've reached out to the developers at Swym regarding this as well.

You may still use SWYM apps to integrate with Klaviyo flows which make use of our other API endpoints.

This is what we suggest when a customer asks how they can improve their deliverability (have to name 2 out of 3)

What is

  • List cleaning

  • add engagement criteria to the segment you send to

  • Double opt in

For a 2400 MRR, managed account, that emails in asking the following question:

We are having some deliverability issues with gmail. Our gmail open rates are down compared to other email clients over the past 2 weeks, or since we started back up with Klaviyo. One thing I noticed through google postmaster is that our DKIM and DMARC success rates are at 0%. I’ve double checked the DNS records for our domain that we received from Klaviyo and they are correct. What could be causing this?

What is yes. High MRR anything over 100, especially if they are managed, when they have included DMARC info, and provided specific examples and details, you should escalate

200

This is affiliate marketing.

What is the process of earning a commission by promoting other people's (or company's) products. You find a product you like, promote it to others and earn a piece of the profit for each sale that you make.

Many customers request a dedicated sending infrastructure because of this factor.

What is Whitelabeling authenticates your sending infrastructure so that, when emails reach inbox providers (e.g., Gmail, Yahoo, Microsoft, etc.), they will appear to come from your brand, rather than from the Klaviyo shared domain.

300

On a "spam test" of our mails we saw that their is less deliverabilty due to the fact that we don't have a DMARC record. (Pls see in attached screenshot

the exact problem, the spam testing -website delivered.)

I have a question from my developer:

Can we create these DMARC records? And if yes, how should we configure these records so we can implement them?

What is let them know that we wouldn’t be able to set this up for them and recommend whitelabeling. We have a whitelabeling macro in ZD.

300

When you update your DNS records with your DNS provider, the process can take this long.

What is up to 48 hours.

https://klaviyo.zendesk.com/agent/tickets/330129 (Should I escalate?)

For a $1200 MRR account, that emails in asking the following question:

Hi :)

I'm having problems with the newsletters im sending out to our subscribers.

All my colleagues has noticed, that the newsletter ends in their spamfilter this week. Also I have noticed some lower open-rate this week. Do you know why this happens?

Thanks in advance.

What is yes. High MRR anything over 100, especially if they are managed, when they have included DMARC info, and provided specific examples and details, you should escalate

300

When reviewing Campaigns/Flow content. You would escalate if you notice that they have fake ________ links.

What is unsubscribe.

300

This is the drawback of a dedicated sending domain.

What is you have to establish your sending reputation, which means you have to warm your sending domain.

400

When you perform a cname query and nothing comes up, (dig cname send.X +short), what did you do wrong?

What is, you  didn’t do anything wrong, the record doesn’t exist.

400

This is the reason we advise customers to warm their sending infrastructure.

It's essential to warm your infrastructure any time you make updates to your DNS records, such as after whitelabeling your sending domain, or whenever you move over to a new email service provider. This trains inbox providers to see you as a "good" sender and strengthens your sender reputation.

I would like assistance from the Klaviyo Deliverability & Compliance team in setting up my dedicated sending domain.

Klaviyo Customer: Please provide as much detail as possible below

Account Name: Kaffekapslen

Root domain: kaffekapslen.fr

Sending domain: send.kaffekapslen.fr

DNS provider (if known): Dandomain

We already have Kaffekapslen FR setup and the sending domain verified. But under the DNS Records section there is a txt type called klaviyo-site-verification=JYzUW8.

This is not set up in our DNS records, yet we are verified. And we can’t set it up, as it won’t accept just the symbol @ as a host.

I am setting up our Austrian site at the moment (Kaffekapslen AT), and again it asks for us to set up that txt type.

Do we need to set that txt@host up to get it verified? Does it make any difference if it’s not set up? What does that record do?

BR

Kaare, Kaffekapslen

What is, this information is included in the troubleshooting doc, but you can also escalate if you get stuck.https://klaviyo.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/COM/pages/1435240001/DNS+records+verification+troubleshooting+guide

400

https://www.klaviyo.com/staff/account/YpnJqa/metrics They don’t have an ecommerce integration, but what else is questionable about this account?

What is we don’t know where the API metrics are coming from, escalate to Compliance

400

These are the benefits of the Klaviyo shared IP (2)

What is

  1. The IP address will carry an established reputation that is measured across more emails than any one sender would send on their own.

  2. The compliance team monitors the IP address and curates which accounts are entitled to send with it.

500

I am setting up a new business email account, the provider is asking for me to setup SPF and DKIM. How does this affect Klaviyo sending emails on my behalf?

What is respond to the customer to let them know that they are sending on the Klaviyo sending domain, which wouldn’t affect your sending on Klaviyo since the SPF/DKIM is already set up for the shared sending domain. This would mean that you would be failing alignment so certain ISPs could push their emails to spam.

Then recommend that they set up a dedicated sending domain by entering the CNAME records into your DNS and send the Help Center article for setting that up.

500

This is the basic process of warming your sending infrastructure (must have 3 out of 4).

What is

  • turn on high engagement flow emails.

  • Migrate your engagement data over from your previous email service provider.

  • Begin sending campaigns to engaged segments.

  • Monitor your performance.

500

When you see all the DNS records were set up correctly, yet the verification is still not happening, you should do this next.

Escalate with 0 hesitation - the Txt file was added as a separate record so we couldn’t access it

500

These are the negatives of a dedicated IP (2)

  • What is

    • You must update DNS records.

    • You must send a high volume of monthly emails to establish a reputation.
