This is where the weakside winger should not be found
These are the options (3), in order, to exit our zone
Skate, Pass, Off the Glass
These are your options (3) if you're on a two on one
Pass, Shoot, Pass off the Pad
This is where you need to be, and what you have to do, on a faceoff (5v5, PK)
Line up on the line. Block your man. Ds keep the gap close. D line up on the line if shorthanded.
This is our Powerplay breakout
Double swing. Centre pivots on forehand. D behind the net controls breakout. Skate to first forechecker, pass to inside player. Skate to second forechecker, pass across the ice to inside player.

Center angles D, Winger on Winger
This is what is happening in front of the net (Ds, Goalies) the moment right before, and right after, a shot is taken
The Ds try to win inside position but do not engage with the player in front. The goalie is responsible for seeing around the player.
Ds take the attackers stick, then body after the shot is taken. Goalie makes the save, and Ds must be in good position to find and clear rebound if necessary
