On this level, you are expected to face forward in your learning center. All materials are expected to be in your bin and kept outside of your learning center. All meals are expected to be in your learning center.
What is level 1?
The percentage of points that you are expected to earn at level 3 and 4.
What is 90%?
A student attributes his/her success to how much his/her teacher likes them.
What is external locus of control?
A staff member prompts a student for self control after talking out without raising his/her hand first. The student says, "okay." The student then raises his/her hand silently and waits patiently to be called on.
What is accepting staff redirection?
Taking the initiative to raise your hand and contribute to a group discussion. Reading during a group activity out loud to the class. Joining a group to work on a science lab.
What is participation?
On this level, you are eligible to go to the cafeteria for the first time. If you make it to day 5 of this level, you are eligible to participate in school sports.

What are 35 points and 21 points?
Timmy is playing basketball in PE class. He makes a shot that bounces 4 times on the rim before going in the hoop. Stevie says that Timmy "got lucky." Stevie is demonstrating this locus of control.
What is external locus of control?
You are sitting with your back against the back of the chair and both feet on the floor while facing forward.
What is following directions in my chair?
Remaining silent in your learning center. Demonstrating patience while waiting silently to be called on by staff.
What is self control?
On this level, you are expected to eat all meals in the classroom but you are eligible to sit on in the middle of the class to eat meals and participate in conversations with peers and staff.
What is level 2?
On this level, you can earn 37 points and earn your day on a full day.
What is level 1?
What is both, internal locus of control and external locus of control?
You sit silently during a discussion in class with your eyes on the speaker. You have a comment to make, so you raise your hand silently and wait to be called on. After being called on, you stay on topic with your comment.
What is participation in a group?
Following along with the reader during "popcorn reading." When you are called on, you know exactly where the class is on the reading and begin reading at the exact point you are expected to be at.
What is on task?
On these levels, you are eligible for outside body breaks and are able to participate in school store on Fun Friday.
What are levels 2, 3, and 4?
The amount of points expected to be earned on a half day at level 3 and/or 4.
What is 27 points?
This locus of control is related to a growth mindset and taking responsibility for your actions in all scenarios.
What is internal locus of control?
You walk silently in a line, you keep appropriate personal space with the person in front of you and you hold the door for the person behind you.
What are the expectations in the hallway?
A staff members gives you a direction to put away your belongings and have the eyes on the speaker. You choose to immediately put your belongings away and turn out to have eyes with the speaker.
What is following directions?
On this level, you are given the most freedoms but also the most expectations in the classroom.
What is level 4?
The level(s) Timmy is on to make his day with 25 points on a half day.
What is level 1 or 2?
No matter how hard you try, there will be bad things that happen to you. Nothing you do can prevent that.
What is an external locus of control?
You keep conversation appropriate and respectful. You eat politely with your mouth closed. You raise your hand to ask staff to throw away your trash.
What are the expectations during lunch?
You are walking in the hallway and hold the door open for a classmate behind you that has his/her hands full. Your classmate says, "thank you." You respond by saying, "you are welcome."
