Political boundaries that are defined my straight lines for good reasons.
EX:North and south korea were split in half so the south was non communist and the north was.

a crop produced for its commercial value rather than for use by the grower.

Heartland, source area, innovation center; place of origin of a major culture.
Refugee
A person who has been forced to leave their country in order to escape war, persecution, or natural disaster.
EX:There are refugees flowing into counties near Ukraine like Poland as Ukraine is in War with Russia.
Pastoral Nomadism
This alternative to sedentary agriculture is characterized by following the herds, just as the earlier hunters and gatherers did.

isoline are lines drawn to link different places that share common value. For example, a line drawn on a map to join up all the places that same height above sea level is called a contour.

The declining degree of acceptance of an idea or innovation with increasing time and distance from its point of origin or source.

A rural settlement pattern characterized by isolated farms rather than clustered villages.

a blending of beliefs and practices from different religions into one faith/why cultures and parctices change.
Nation-state
a state whose territorial extent coincides with that occupied by a distinct nation or people, or at least whose population shares a general sense of unity and allegiance to a set of common values.

A stage when people learned to cultivating and harvest crops for food so they settled down. This started happening in various parts of the world in around 800bc
