So we know where to put a book back on the shelf if we don't want it. It keeps books from getting lost in the library and keeps our shelves clean

How do we know by looking at the book if it is a fiction book?
The spine label will have "F" as the first part of the call number
when looking for books on the shelf, or putting them back what should the book spines should be lined up with.

If you find a book in the wrong spot, how do you know where it belongs? What should you do with it?
Look at the call number for the book's address, and replace the book where it belongs or give it to the librarians.

Look in Destiny Discover or ask Mrs. Smith
Where do books go if you aren't sure where to put them back on the shelves?
Give them to the librarians.
How do you tell if it is a Non- Fiction Book?
The spine will start with numbers, then The authors last 3 letters of their last name.
