To me, they are the same guy (Canadian, starred in The Truman Show) because they have similar last names and very generic white man given names, though I am meanly told that they are NOT the same person and it makes NO SENSE for me to confuse them, which I would know if I watched any movies...

One is a man who Lauren and Justin apparently saw when we were out for lunch doing a monthly pitch meeting in NYC but who I didn't turn around to look at, partially because I didn't know if Justin was being serious, but mostly because I wouldn't really know if it was him, or if it was the guy who played Scott Pilgrim.

When I was in high school, we had an open-ended mini essay on a timed exam. I chose to write my essay on the feminist author who wrote "Story of an Hour" and The Awakening, but then for some reason switched partway through the essay to using the last name of the author of My Ántonia and "The Wagner Matinee" who wrote a lot about prairie life. Either that, or it was the other way around. I believe I still got full marks on the essay but briefly confused my teacher while she was grading.

2. en-dash for compound acjections, like post–World War II (CMOS 6.80)
[3. en-dashes in campus names, like University of Wisconsin–Madison (CMOS 6.81)]
