What is Counseling and why is it important in Leadership roles?
It is discussing with our presidencies, advisers, the Bishopric and the Lord the needs of our quorums and classes that leads to revelation
Who presides in a Quorum or Class Presidency meeting?
The President, unless a member of the Bishopric is attending.
How often should Quorum and Class Presidency meetings be held?
Regularly and as needed (typically at least monthly).
Who creates the agenda and when is this done?
Presidency members, advisers and bishopric members can provide input for the agenda. Typically the secretary helps to prepare the agenda and provide it to attendees, if possible in advance of the meeting.
Why is Learning an important part of Leadership?
Those in our quorums and classes are not the only ones that are changed through our efforts. The Lord stretches us and helps us to grow through our opportunities to lead in His church. His ways are higher than our ways and as we are open to learning he will teach us ways that we can be effective in our service.
How does Loving those in our quorums and classes affect our service?
It helps us to want to strengthen and bless the individuals in our quorums and classes and makes our efforts to serve them meaningful

Typically the President or one of his or her counselors.

Typically the secretary, but the president could make this assignment to others.

The President, his or her counselors and the secretary can all be involved in preparing topics for the agenda. Advisers and Bishoprics members may also provide guidance on topics.

When a decision is made in a Quorum or Class Presidency meeting after counseling and seeking the Lord's will, what is the role of the Presidency?
To seek to be unified in supporting the decisions of the council.
How does Including others relate to Leadership?
The Savior invited all to Come Unto Him. We can follow his example as we strive to Include others.
What role does Planning play in leadership?
It gives quorum and class leaders the opportunity to identify needs within their quorums and classes and put actions into place that will bless individuals and families
What is the role of the individual conducting the meeting?
Encourage discussion on the topics that the Presidency and others have brought to the meeting seeking guidance from the Spirit to come to what the Lord would have for the quorum or class.
What is the role of Advisers and Bishopric members in Quorum and Class Presidency meetings?
Give instruction and guidance (training).
In what ways can we Prepare to have successful Presidency Meetings?
We can seek to be Spiritually prepared so the Spirit can be enhanced in our meetings. We can prepare agendas in advance. We can be aware of the needs in our quorums and classes.
Is Example an important principle of leadership and if so, why?
Yes, often our actions and who we are speaks louder than what we say.
What is the role of those in the meeting that are not conducting?
Listening and Providing feedback on topics being discussed seeking the Spirit and the Lords will on the matters. Seeking to come to the solution the Lord would have for the quorum or class.

To Counsel about the needs of the Class or Quorum, to receive Revelation and to act on that Revelation to bless the lives of class or quorum members, families, the ward and others
