Universal precautions are operating under the assumption that all blood and body fluid is potentially infectious. We utilize this to protect both staff and patients from exposure.

NO!
Bins and biohazard waste are placed in the red bags in a cardboard box in the dirty utility room. The red bags are gooseneck tied and the box is taped up. A sticker is placed on the side for stericycle pickup.
