What does CPU stand for ?
Central Processing Unit.
Do laptops have multiple parts or are they all one piece ?
Laptops come with a built-in monitor, keyboard, touchpad, and speakers.
What is the difference between a PC and a Mac ?
Macs almost always use the Mac OS X operating system, while PCs use the Microsoft Windows operating system.
What are the 2 different types of mice ?
The optical mouse and the mechanical mouse.

What does PCI stand for ?

How is a laptop different from a desktop ?
A laptop is more mobile and can be used in a variety of locations, while a desktop is meant to be stationary, only being used at a desk or table.
What is software ?
Any set of instructions that tells the hardware what to do and how to do it.
What is in the computer case ?
Motherboard, CPU, and power supply.
What are the 8 things located on the back of a computer case ?
Audio in/out, monitor port, USB ports, ethernet port, serial port, PS/2, expansion slots, power socket.
What is a CPU (what size and what is it made of) ?
It is a 2-inch ceramic square with a silicon chip located inside.
What are the ports like on a laptop ?
They are the same ports that are on a desktop, except there are usually less ports.
