This is a group of cancers that are often harmless but potentially deadly if left untreated. It is especially common in Florida
What are skin cancers?

This was perhaps the worst plague in history. It killed as much as 50% of the world's population and was spread by fleas infected with the Yersinia pestis bacteria.

This form of cancer kills the most people in the United States per year. It is highly treatable if caught early.
What is lung cancer?
This virus does not make a person sick for long- usually about a week. However, in the late 1700s, it killed thousands of people in Philadelphia and forced the United States to relocate its government to a new city.
What is yellow fever?
This condition is less contagious than lice but much more harmful to the body. The critters lay eggs under a person's skin, causing horrible itching.
What are scabies?
This is a symptom rather than a disease. Your lungs fill with fluid, and this can be fatal if left untreated
What is pneumonia?
This form of cancer afflicts women more frequently than men, though men are not immune. It is strongly linked with a dangerous allele of the BRCA I and BRCA II genes.
What is breast cancer?
This retrovirus originated in apes in Africa. It earned the bigoted name "Gay Cancer" during the 80s and 90s due to its particularly severe outbreak among gay populations. Today, it is highly treatable and even curable.

This virus is common among young people. While typically non-lethal, certain strains of it can cause shingles, a disease which causes lifelong pain

This virus killed millions in the early 1900s. It was irregular in that it was often lethal to young adults, a population which usually has high survival rates during disease outbreaks.

This is a horribly painful and contagious disease that causes blisters on the extremities, mouth, and occasionally buttocks.

This occurs when the folds of a person's brain become infected by a virus or bacteria. It can cause seizures or death if left untreated.
What is meningitis?
This cancer is fairly common, but also one of the most treatable if caught early. Symptoms include bulging eyes and rapid weight changes.
What is thyroid cancer?
This virus was among the earliest recorded plagues in history, and decimated people all over the world until a few decades ago. It is characterized by weeping sores, vomiting, and deadly fevers. It is effectively eradicated today, but if it ever escapes from a lab, it is highly lethal.
What is smallpox?
This disease can cause dehydration, diarrhea, and in extreme cases, death. It is occasionally spread in schools when children share cups, or drink from a contaminated water fountain

This is a fairly common brain condition, especially in men. A small section of brain fills with fluid. In David's case, it was a medical emergency because the bubble was the size of a grapefruit
