Dispatchers Responsibilities:
-Know at ALL TIMES where ALL Patrolmen are located and WHO they are with.
-Ensure all Rams, Post checks, Drills, ect. are being conducted.
-Log all information into the desk journal.
-Track all radios and issue batteries.
-Provide assistance to all “walk-in” complaints.
-Maintain effective COMMS with all personnel throughout the shift.
- Keep Watch Commander “in the know” of all actions you take, decisions you makes, and customers you communicate with. The watch Commander has the final say and approval of all changes made to the watch and all assignments.

Clipboards (6): Mod. Z and Yoke Fittings, Zone Sheets (4), and Radio accountability.
Bomb Bag: Writing Utensil, Notepad, Rope/String, Chemlights, Tape, Mirror.
Turnover Procedure
- Verify Rams for shift
- Cleanliness of dispatch Center
- Conduct inventory of all logs and equipment as mentioned above.
- Ensure Radios and the Magazine Tags are accounted for.
- Ensure Desk Journal and Comms log are up to date and correct.
- Verify you have all Zone Sheets
- Ask if any restrictees have been checked off the ship
- Know the ATTWO, CDO, ACDO, and Duty Section
- Always ask for that day’s events, and READ THE PASS DOWN LOG.
