1-It is a model supported by a health care institution ( hospital, health department, or long- term care facility) where nurses are paid salary or hourly either by the institution or a shared salary with the congregation over time. The unpaid model is not paid a salary and is governed by the congregation. 2- In this model, the nurse is governed and paid by the congregation with no contractual support from any sponsoring healthcare institution.
