What are birthday treats?
On a monthly basis children participate in how to safely evacuate the building and Lead Teacher documents number of children, adults and timespan.
What is a fire drill?
Personal electronic devices are left in your cubby.
What is Cell Phone Policy?
Check classroom phone voicemail, set up classroom environment, and make sure all children are signed in on ProCare app and sign in sheet.
What are opening procedures?
Teacher wears gloves when serving children food.
What is sanitary food service?
Lead Teacher delegates who is responsible for preparing buses for loading, taking children to the bathroom, packing up child belongings, posting location on door, and contacting families (as time allows).
What is an evacuation?
Teachers are spaced out to ensure optimal visual for as many children as possible as well as engagement in learning activities.
What is classroom/playground safety?
Walk through learning environment to ensure all materials are put away, windows are closed and locked, lights are turned off, blinds are drawn, all children are signed out on Procare app and sign out sheet.
What are closing procedures?
Child cannot return to school for 24 hours after being symptom free when sent home after 10 am due to illness/not being able to actively participate.
What is illness policy?
Parents sign permission list, off campus information is posted on bulletin board, paperwork posted by kitchen phone, and emergency backpacks are utilized.
What are field trip procedures?
Children are audible and within eyesight at all times.
What is teacher supervision?
Teacher texts Lead Teacher and Stephanie as soon as possible when unexpectedly unable to come to work.
What is call in sick policy?
Vaccination, air filters, ventilation, UV light, wearing masks, disinfecting throughout the day and physical distancing.
What are layers of COVID protection?
All doors are locked, lights turned off, blinds are drawn, teachers and children are quiet and hidden.
What is a hush drill?
Two teachers are always present.
What is playground safety?

Anything "desserty" needs to be eaten last.

Class size is limited to 20 children with 1 teacher to 10 children.
