Show up to class, work on assignments, turn in work, make corrections on work, and ask for help.
How can I earn bonus bucks to participate in weekly store?
Apply for a classroom job, fulfill your duties, and sign off on your time card.
If I am feeling upset and overwhelmed in class, how can I communicate my needs?
Ask for a break, use a coping skill, check in with a counselor, journal, listen to music, do something that will bring you joy, or take a walk.
A Friday rally during homecoming where all of the different grade levels perform a skit and compete.
What is Monarch Day?
If one of my classmates says something I disagree with, how should I respond?
Share your opinion in a respectful manner, for example, “I could see how you think that, my perspective is….” or don’t share if you don’t have anything nice to say.
If my teacher asks a question to the class, but I don’t know if my answer is correct, what should I do?
Share it anyway, it is okay to make mistakes, that is how we learn.
How can I earn raffle tickets throughout the week?
Showing up to class on time, participating in class discussions, working on assignments, turning in work, correcting work when asked, turning in your phone, wearing your mask.
What does respecting other people’s personal space and belongings mean?
Staying in your lane, physically and emotionally. Keep hands to yourself, stay in your seat, ask before you touch something that doesn’t belong to you.
If I witness or experience bullying, who should I tell?
Teachers, administrators, Seneca staff. You can report it anonymously as well through a QR code. If it is happening to you, it is very helpful if you write a statement.
