What is the difference between a primary and a secondary source and give an example of each.
A primary source was were made or used by people who were there when an event took place. Ex: a diary, journal, picture, video
A secondary source are made by people later, after the event has happened. Ex: a book written about a historical figure, oral history, a textbook.
Predict what history books would look like if we had no written or oral history.
