Calling the names of members or delegates to verify their attendance.
What is Roll Call?
GPA Minimum of all NPHC members.
What is 2.5?
The fine for missing a NPHC meeting.
What is $10?
Must be properly registered and approved by the Greek Life Office.
What is all parties, social programs, and events?
All active Members of Valdosta States National Panhellenic are required to accumulate this many community service hours PER semester.
What is 25?
Business that is carried over from the previous meetings. Includes motions that were postponed or not completed prior to adjournment of the previous meeting.
What is Unfinished Business?
Fined $100 and Placed on Social Probation for that semester. Will not be allowed to participate in Greek Wide Events, such as Greek Week and Homecoming events.
What is earning below 2.5 gpa for 2 consecutive semesters?
The fine for a member organization that has an event on another member organization event's function date or Founders' Day.
What is $300?
The amount of days allowed to have events and will not be considered a Week.
What is 3 consecutive days?
Number of required collaboration events for each chapter per academic year.
What is 4?
The minimum number of members who must be present at a meeting to transact business legally.
What is quorum?
Allowed two social events (including formals, semi-formals, socials)
What is earning below 2.5 for one semester?
A member"s failure to conduct themselves with appropriate meeting behavior results in this fine.
What is $5?
No NPHC organization may hold parties on Sunday- Wednesday. The following are exceptions.
What is holidays, Founders' Day, and Charter Day
Failure to meet community service requirements before the end of the Semester will result in two consequences.
What is temporary suspension and a $50 fine?
A proposal at a meeting that certain action be taken or certain views about a subject be expressed by the assembly.
What is Motion?
Fined $100 and will be allowed to participate in Greek Wide Events such as but not limited to Greek Week and Homecoming events
What is earning below 2.5 for one semester?
The fine for member organizations involved in misconduct at their own, another organization, or the Council's event.
What is $300?
Defined as any event sponsored, co-sponsored or financially sponsored or financially benefitting or organization, despite the usage of an alias name of an organization.
What is a function?
Academically inactive members are required to complete an academic plan but not allowed to do two things.
What is attend NPHC Social events or wear nalia at official Greek events?
Proper language to make a motion.
What is "I move that..." ?
Required to plan and attend an educational program for time management and/or study skills for the following semester
What is earning below 2.5?
The result of not paying fines by the last day of classes each semester.
What is No programming privileges, including forfeiting party dates?
Ends by midnight and includes but is not limited to fundraisers, barbeques, fashion shows, and yard shows that foster camaraderie on campus and in the surrounding community.
What is Social Program?
Failure to Meet Requirement by end of academic year will result in two outcomes.
What is $400 fine and the restriction of chapter social events rolling into the next semester.
