Bathroom Rules
What should you be doing when you go to the restroom?
Get in, do your business, wash your hands, get out. (No playing around.)
What should you do if someone tries to talk to you in the hallway.
ignore them and maybe make a quiet symbol to remind them.
What do you do if you have a question for a teacher or something to say?
Raise your hand and wait to be called on.
What should you do if someone falls?
Help them up and see if they are ok, do not laugh
What should you do for dismissal?
Pack up your belongings, line up in classroom, go downstairs in a single file line, go directly to your dismissal location
Name one thing you should NOT do in the restroom.
talk, sing, climb the toilets, hang on stalls, lock the doors and crawl out, make a mess
What should you do if you walk past a dot and there is not one to stand on.
Go to the back of the line. Don't step backwards and push everyone else backwards.
What is expected of you when you line up?
stand on a dot or your number, stay quiet, face forward, don't touch others.
What should you do if you find something that isn't yours.
Give it to the teacher so the teacher can find out who it belongs to.
How should you act in the cafeteria?
Listen to the monitors, no throwing food, no yelling, don't get up without asking permission.
You can't just walk out of the room to use the bathroom without permission. What should you do?
Give secret sign to techer to get permission, sign out on the clipboard, put pass on your desk so everyone knows you are out of room.
What should you do when you get to school on time in the morning.
Go to cafeteria, wait at tables, line up when grade is called, wait for teacher to come get your class.
What should you be doing if someone else is speaking?
Listen, pay attention, be respectful, and stay quiet
What should you do if someone is being unkind to you or your classmate?
Tell them to stop and tell the teacher.
How should you act on the playground.
be kind, do not touch anyone, do not push anyone, no tag

Follow their instructions.

Some choices: Chromebook, pencil pouch, folder, headphones/earbuds, backpack, coat, water bottle, lunch box.
What should you do if someone tries to hug you or touch you?
Ask for an air hug or fist bump, or something that doesn't involve touching.
How should you act in your special classes (Music, library, art, guidance, technology, P.E., etc.)
Follow the teachers rules and directions, treat them with respect like you would your regular teachers.
If you are making noise in the restroom and a teacher hears and asks who it was, what should you do?
Tell the truth! You'll get in less trouble!

walking normally, quietly, and be an arms length away from the person in front of you.

Say "excuse me" or "sorry". Maybe ask to go to the restroom.
