A: No, none of your courses will transfer, but some of your clinical hours may come over for you depending on how many you’ve completed in your MSN program.
I have just completed my MSW degree, why can I apply for the PhD in Social Work program and not the DSW program?
The DSW program requires at least 3 years full-time and equivalent practice experience beyond the master’s degree. The PhD in Social Work does not have this requirement.

Students may complete the applied practice experience where they work (e.g., health department or other health organization); however, the learning experience must be:
• In a different department or unit from where they currently work or have previously worked.
• Significantly different than current or previous activities they have performed at the site.
• Completed outside of their normal working hours.
• Under the direction of a preceptor who is not their immediate supervisor in their usual work
I have an MSN FNP, can I complete the DNP FNP?
The DNP FNP is for students intersted in pursuing licensure as an FNP. You already completed this content during your MSN FNP program. We use the same NP courses for the DNP FNP. Therefore, you wouldn’t need to retake those courses. The purpose of the DNP program is to expand your skillset outside of direct patient care. Unless you are looking for an additional NP license, you can choose the DNP general or DNP Executive Leadership.
Can I become a licensed Psychologist with the PsyD in Behavioral Health Leadership?
No, this program is not a licensure program. It is for students who are looking to work in a leadership role in a behavioral health setting. Certain Master’s degrees are required to qualify for this program: Area related to business, public health, health administration, education, leadership, or behavioral health, psychiatric nursing degrees will qualify, but general nursing will not

Would I get transfer of credit from my MSN into the Dr. Public Health?
Although this program does accept transfer of credit, transfer of credit from one discipline to another is unlikely. The coursework in an MSN is so different then the doctoral coursework in the Dr Ph. There is typically no overlap between the two.
