Please explain all the steps required to do a release at destination.
Check if the vessel has sailed.
Check if payment has been made or credit is present.
Check if draft approval is submitted and states RAD.
Check the OBL box Make sure it is check by another person on documentation this confirms that the OBL is okay to be released.
Make a note on screen D1110 screen "this is okay to be released to destination" and put username and date. Example: Khojain 1/2/2025.
Change place of issue to destination location.
Send destination an email or subcase per country requirements.
Send customer copies and email that release has been complete.
Please explain the entire process of making an amendment if the shipment already has the arrival notice.
1. Check that corrections were submitted in FIS.
2. Reach out to the destination and seek permission and ask if we can process the changes that the customer is asking for. Also, ask about any fees associated with the charge.
Then, send a message to the customer letting them know what Destination answered. Be sure to include any fees. Once the customer approves to make the corrections accepts the fines and report it back to Destination and update the draft and send it to the customer. Lastly, advise to destination that the updates on the BL (bill of lading) are complete.
