Explain this verse
"Knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ,” (1 Peter 1:18-19)
Back then slaves were "redeemed" or "freed" when someone paid money to buy their freedom. On the other hand, we cannot be saved through "silver" or "gold" (money), only the precious blood of Jesus Christ can.

3. Stronger than Death - He was buried in a tomb. He defeated death and after three days, He raised Himself from the dead
4. Creator - Through His resurrection, He gave us eternal life and renewed our nature (no longer corrupt)
5. Omnipotent (unlimited) - His blood is enough to redeem ALL humanity - from Adam to the last human

How was the lamb of the Passover in the Old Testament similar to Jesus Christ?
1. Christ was without blemish (physically and spiritually, sinless)
2. Just as the lamb's blood saved the people inside the house, the Blood of Jesus Christ saved us from eternal Death (saves EVERYONE)
3. Christ was hung on the wood of the cross just as the lamb was hung on the wooden crossed skewers)
4. None of Christ's bone were broken just the lamb
5. Christ was taken down on the same day of His crucifixion just as no leftovers of the lamb were allowed to stay for the next day
6. The bitter herbs symbolized Jesus's suffering on behalf of our sins and the unleavened bread symbolized how the crucifixion took place on the day before Sabbath and they needed to end it quickly
