Advise them to go to the site and follow the instructions to verify their identity. If they have done so already, they will need to wait for the log posting to say "Identity verified by ID.ME"

No; that date should be after their current claim expires and at that point the claimant will have to file a new claim to test for eligibility (if they are not PUA).
