Do you have to report all falls to the state?
Falls are not required to be reported to HFS unless they are the result of suspected abuse/neglect, the result of a crime, or occur during an emergency such as a fire.
Do we fax Physician Orders to ELP for processing when the resident is not using ELP for pharmacy services? Why or why not?
Yes, every resident should have Physician Orders faxed to ELP for processing so they have them on file to produce monthly POS for our charts. When sending their orders we need to specify "profile only."
