A representation of the location in the drama being produced.

Clothing worn by actors to represent the characters that they are portraying.

This is the abbreviation of the word "property" and is any object that is used in a play to enhance the setting

Parts of a script that are within parenthesis () that tell an actor what to do.

Snow White: (Smiles) I would love an apple. Thank you.

The writer of a play.
What is a playwright?
The written text of a play
What is a script?
Area of the stage that is closest to the audience
What is downstage?
Area of the stage that is farthest from the audience.
What is Upstage?
Area of the stage to the actor's right

Area of the stage that is in the direct middle.
What is Center Stage?
Area of the stage that is to the audience's right.

The person that directs actors during rehearsal.

A dramatic work that presents the downfall of a character due to bad judgement and leads to a disastrous conclusion usually death

The words or conversations spoken by characters to each other. Much of what you learn about the characters, setting, and events are revealed in this conversation.

A struggle that a character has. This can be either internal or external

This is the person who sets the scene for a play and comments on the action
