What is the expectation for language in science class?
- not racist or homophobic, or targeting any group of people - intentionally or unintentionally
- not a slur used in the past to be racist/ homophobic/ target a group of people
- not swearing loudly or at someone else/ calling someone a swear word
- appropriate for a job/ school (no cussing)

- listen when others are talking
- use materials appropriately
- clean up after yourself
- use kind words always including appropriate language
- keep your body to yourself

What does it mean to have diversity (when talking about living things)?
To have many different options or types of something
Give an example of an unaltered fossil (one where the true form is preserved)

What is the procedure to follow when you have to use the restroom?
- Ask at an appropriate time
- Have your monthly emergency pass and pull it out to sign
- sign out with the time
- take the red pass and come back in a short amount of time
What is the policy for being on your phone in class
1. One warning at the beginning of class to everyone
2. Phone confiscated for the rest of the day

The expectation is that you TALK to your partner about the correct topic. The teacher will be using popsicle sticks to randomly call on people and you need to be prepared to answer.
