The Process of electing the President of the United States. Each state has different electoral college votes. If a candidate wins a state, they win all the votes. The President needs 270 votes to win. You can have more votes and still lose, you just need to win the Electoral College

What Problems came as a result for Washington/Adams?

The Jay Treaty was a trade agreement between Great Britain and The United States.

This lead to France becoming enemies with the United States and threatening was all of the Adams Presidency
