What is UNICORN used for?
Unicorn is used for Early Intervention across Colorado, provided by the State of Colorado. Information on Clients, Service Coordinators, Providers, and Community Agencies are housed in UNICORN
Are families required to participate in Early Intervention services if their child qualifies?
No! Early Intervention is a voluntary program, always.
A parent wants to continue with Early Intervention services, but they cant pay for it. Can they still get services?
Yes! We follow a funding hierarchy, with State funds as the payer of last resort to ensure all families can be served who qualify.

What is Child Find?
Child Find is a program through the school districts aimed at "Finding Children" who need extra supports to navigate their environment, including for Early Intervention, Preschool and on!
What is Trust Fund?
A partnership between the State and Private Insurance companies that allows a pot of money from the insurance plan (up to 45 visits per calendar year) to pay for any EI service.
What is the dress code?
Your supervisor is always a listening ear. If you need help regarding your supervisor, HR has an open-door policy. If you need more intervention, each employee can see a licensed counselor for up to three in-person visits and additional phone call visits.

Can Private Insurance be billed to fund EI services?
Yes! Many private insurance plans include a number of PT, ST, OT visits that we can bill.
