When should your timecard be approved?
What should be on the children's lunch each day? What should their water bottles have on it?
Name and Date/ If they are under 2 it needs to have the time it was made.
Water bottles need their name.
What shouldn't be in the children's bags?
Medications, chokeable items, plastic bags
When needing the day off for sickness or emergency what is the protocol?

What should you be doing while you are outside with the children?

Clean up the toys
When a child has an accident or needs their clothes changed what is the process?
After the child is change put the clothes into a bag, label and date it.
Where should scissors be kept?
Locked in a cabinet and high enough that children cannot reach them.
If crayons are broken what should be done?
Throw them away and replace them
Where is each classrooms emergency exit route?
CP- Either door
LB- Out caterpillars and either door
BB- Out the back door
CR- Out the kitchen door

When should staff and children be washing their hands?
(a) upon arrival;

(f) when coming in from outdoors;
(g) after cleaning up or taking out garbage
How often should cots be cleaned?
After each use unless they are labeled with their first and last name then weekly
What do you do if you suspect a child has peanuts/peanut butter in a child's lunch?
Do not serve it and bring it to the office. We will message the parents and offer them something from the center to replace it for the day.
What is the diaper changing process?
1. gather supplies
2. get the child
3. change the bottom
4. toss the gloves and disgusting diaper
5. Wipe all hands with wipe
6. Put the clean diaper on
7. Wash hands
8. Sanitize the area

CP- 2:8
LB- 2:10

Where are medication kept in each classroom?
48 inches above the floor
CP- medication box. EPI pens hung above the door
LB- Medication box in white cabinet
BB- Medication box in brown cabinet
CR- hung on the bulletin board
