This describes what everything on Earth is made up of.
What is matter?
This is an area that is covered in grass and grains where sheep live.
What is a grassland?
This is a living thing with a root system that makes its own food.
What is a plant?
This is a big star that gives heat, light and energy to Earth.
What is the sun?
This is a material that has no shape and can float in the air.
What is a gas?
This is an area that is very dry with cacti plants and snakes.
What is a desert?
This is anything that can grow and reproduce.
What is a living thing?
This is a clear liquid that all living things need to drink in order to survive.
What is water?
This is a material that takes the shape of the container it is in and flows.
What is a liquid?
This is a very cold place without trees where polar bears and caribou live.
What is a tundra?
This is a living thing that moves, breathes and eats other livings for energy.
What is an animal?
This is what people and animals eat to get energy to move.
What is food?
This is a material that has a shape and does not flow.
What is a solid?
This is a place with many trees.
What is a forest?
This is anything that is unable to grow, move, breathe and reproduce.
What is a nonliving thing?
This is a mixture of earth and nutrients that plants can use to make food.
What is soil?
This is the month that we do Winter Warriors in.
