Rainforest

300

What is the relationship between a keystone species and its ecosystem?

Bonus 100- name a keystone species we've talked about

A keystone species is essential to maintain balance and biodiversity in its ecosystem.

Ms. Barker will determine the bonus

What biome is this?

It includes bodies of water like rivers, lakes, and wetlands, and the communities of plants and animals that live in them.

Freshwater Biome

400

What is the main energy source in food webs/ ecosystems?

The sun! slay

Bonus 100 if you got it because you're slaying the game

400

Describe what is happening in this food chain (include proper vocab terms for each organism):

The grass produces its own energy which the grasshopper eats. The grasshopper is a producer. The frog (carnivore) then eats the grasshopper. The frog gets ate by the snake (carnivore). Then the eagle eats the snake (apex predator). When the eagle dies, its body is decomposed by our decomposer (fungus). The decomposer gives the producers the nutrients it needs.
