What is the purpose of our preamble?
The preamble is our mission statement. It states Kappa Phi Lambda’s goals, which incorporate our three pillars, sisterhood, service, and cultural diversity. It also advocates for sisters’ academic excellence.
What are the requirements for community service chair OR fundraising/philanthropy chair?
CS National: 10 total hours per semester as per the formula, with at least 3 active sisters in attendance (group photo, 2 action shots, sign in sheet)
CS School: Total of 25 hours per active sister per year; facilitate USD and Relay for Life; find and attend service events with at least 25% actives present; report hours on SJU Formstack
F/P National: Donate at least $75 to CARE or St. Jude’s per semester (1 philanthropy per semester at least), Spirit of the Phoenix week event
