This will be checked at the beginning of class. Excused forms of this include: documented illness, deaths in the family and other documented crises, call to active military duty or jury duty, religious holy days, and official York College sponsored activities. They will be accommodated in a way that does not arbitrarily penalize students who have a valid excuse. Consideration will also be given to students whose dependent children experience serious illness.

The purpose of this activity is to allow students to experience the educational process and environment in an actual school setting.

Activities will occur frequently during our class time and many of these activities will be collected/submitted and graded. This is the location you must be to receive points for the assignments because make-ups are not allowed.

These assignments must be turned in typed, double-spaced, twelve-point Times New Roman font with one-inch margins on all sides. They should also be proofread and free from grammatical and spelling errors. Papers that do not comply with this format or that contain numerous errors will lose points accordingly.
