Treatment for Diabetic Seizure (Minimum 4 things)
1. Let pt. seize. Do not restrict movement.
2. Place something under their head.
3. For non-violent seizures, roll pt. on their side
4. Record time of seizure and duration
5. Call 911.
6. Reassess ABCs after seizure
7. Administer glucose to raise their blood sugar levels after a seizure when they no longer have trouble swallowing
