What is Protected Characteristics?
An employment decision that is inappropriately based on a protected characteristic and not on skills, qualifications, abilities; or failing to apply a uniform standard of treatment in the workplace such that it impacts a group of people with a particular protected characteristic.
What is Discrimination?
