Describe how you would fry an egg

Place a little oil/butter in a fry pan.
Once it is hot, crack the egg carefully and add it to the pan with 1 t of water.
Cover the pan with a lid.
Fry the egg until the white have set (2 min).  Serve on toast.

Bring a pot of water to the boil.
Once the water is boiling, add the egg to the water using a slotted spoon.
Cover with a lid and allow to simmer.
Once cooked to desired time, remove egg with slotted spoon and place in cold water to stop the egg from further cooking.
