Paragraphs 12-14 shows that the main character is shy.  According to the text “I wanted the teacher to help but I was too embarssed to ask for it.” Another detail is “ the broken glass almost cut me.” This shows how the character is show in the story.  

Missing a detail..  The second detail does not support that the character is shy.
