Text Features
The sequence of events in a story (beginning, middle, end)
Plot
A type of book that is either fiction (not true/didn't really happen) like Harry Potter or non fiction (based on facts) liek a biography or math book.
Examples: fantasy, horror, humor, informational, folktale
Genre
The main character in the story (usually the good guy)
Protagonist
The character or thing that causes conflict/problem with the main character
Antagonist
How the ideas of a text are arranged.
(problem/solution, cause/effect, description, compare/contrast, sequence, chronological order)
Text Structure
