The broker decides that this is the deal of a lifetime and he gets all of his clients to invest their savings in the merger. Shortly after, the news comes out that the merger is off. Stocks for two companies begin to fall rapidly. The broker thinks he and all of his investors' lives are ruined. He lost the life savings of dozens of people. He soon realizes that he forgot to click the "Buy" button on his computer and didn't invest the money in the merger after all.

"What's going on?" he asks. In an earlier part of the story, the author has written that this player has been traded to another team.

The rain hammered like rampaging maggots, making Jimbo lonely. Jimbo grabbed a Shiny a glass that had been strewn nearby; he massaged it with his fingers.
As Jimbo stepped outside and Ellen came closer, he could see the bright glint in her eye.
"Look Jimbo," growled Ellen, with a charming glare that reminded Jimbo of malicious monkeys. "I hate you and I want Money. You owe me 7316 dollars."
Jimbo looked back, even more lonely and still fingering the Shiny a glass. "Ellen, I love You still," he replied.
They looked at each other with Concerned feelings, like two melodic, moaning mice partying at a very clumsy a Divorce, which had drum and bass music playing in the background and two selfish uncles loving to the beat.
Suddenly, Ellen lunged forward and tried to punch Jimbo in the face. Quickly, Jimbo grabbed the Shiny a glass and brought it down on Ellen's skull.
Ellen's handsome fingernails trembled and her vast abs wobbled. She looked puzzled, her wallet raw like a rotten, resonant Ring.
Then she let out an agonizing groan and collapsed onto the ground. Moments later Ellen Bob-Bo was dead.
Jimbo Bob-Bo went back inside and made himself a nice drink of Beer.
