Why does Margaret pursue photography despite risks?
Margaret pursues photography despite the risks because she is passionate about it. In the text, she says she had to know if she had the ability to become a professional, showing how important photography is to her. She even travels to New York and chases after Mr. Moskowitz without an appointment. This shows that she is willing to take risks and step outside of her comfort zone to follow her passion, even though it is not the safer choice.
